Hi,

does anybody know of any working alternative to update notifier? I used to use secunia psi, then switched to update notifier. But recently, neither of them has worked! They just don't show any updates available, when there clearly are programs on my pc which are out of date. Or does anybody have any idea what could be causing this?

Thanks in advance, any help is greatly appreciated!

CNET has Tech Tracker which seems to work quite well.

Like all these programmes however, it should be used as a guide only and not as an absolute.

Cheers

I did try that and it didn't work either... But I did some googling and on http://alternativeto.net/ (awesome website by the way) I found a similar program by filehippo and it works great!

Thanks a lot anyway!!
