Thank you in advance for any help you can give.

I have Windows Messenger installed on my computer. I've had different .NET passports (which I guess is a Windows Live account? An MSN account? Are they the same? I'm not really sure...), but whenever I got a new one, I deleted the old one. However, in the drop-down menu for the email address that I can sign in as, Windows Messenger still keeps the record of my previous accounts. Does that mean that those accounts are still active or just that Windows Messenger just keep a record of the emails that I've logged in with?

Additionally, I don't think I'm going to use Windows Messenger anymore. If I deleted my old accounts (i.e., the MSN accounts I had to get to use Windows Messenger) and uninstalled Windows Messenger, would that be sufficient?

Thank you again!
