i've a classic situation here.
i'm using windows xp professional version 2002 service pack 2, now on every booting of my os, always appears an error dialog box for my windows explorer. its says (as usual) "Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience" words, and bla..bla..bla..
this error report contains error signature :
AppName: explorer.exe AppVer: 6.0.2900.2180 ModName: crypt32.dll
ModVer: 5.131.2600.2180 Offset: 00009eb1.
beside that, almost all my shortcut on the desktop wont works (shown the same dialog box), also some of application from start menu cant executed as well. except if i use "run", all application works fine.
from some topics of several forums, it says that, its can be cured by combofix.
but havent try it yet, unless i've got the right guide from the right person.
so i post this topic on beepingcomputer.com inorder to get a right solution.
