Hi there,

Reboot in Safe Mode (reboot, tap the F8 key repeatedly at sight of the first black screen then in the menu that appears, use the arrow and enter keys to select 'Start Winindows in Safe Mode'). Run Mcafee from there and remove all it finds, then reboot normally.

I am hoping that 'web site hijacker' does not mean a Winsock hijack.

Therefore, if you want to have extra care it may be worth posting a Hijack This log. To do so, go to the Hijack This forum here and read all the stickys and announcements, follow their instructions and post a log.
