Long time ignorant first time user.

I am looking to get the cheapest pc I can. However I want to be able to creat my own website. Can anyone suggest the minimum hardware. Would I need Pentium or just Celeron. What RAM would I need.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 to BC
I started editing my own "basic" web page with MicroSoft Publisher. I started with a P-I 133mhz and 32 MB RAM.
Used computers are cheap. I currently use Dell GX1 P-III 500mhz/512mb RAM. To start 128 or 256 ram and a P-III 450mhz should do you fine as long as you do not plan to game much.
Less than $100 & $60 for a copy of 2000 and you are set. Open Office is free and is frankly all you need for basic web pages. There is a whole lot of freeware out there and everyone here will be more than glad to help you. Just tell use what you need.
