Let me begin by saying I'm not a computer expert, so please be gentle with me!

I'm running a Sony Vaio laptop - XP SP3. I'm also hooked up to the net via a wireless connection. When I turned on my computer yesterday, the toolbar was all greyed out and old-school looking. I also am unable to connect to the internet at all. My other, older computer (desktop that I'm on right now), is able to access the internet just fine.

I ran a Malware Anti-Malware scan with the following results:

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.46

Database version: 4052

Windows 5.1.2600 Service Pack 3
Internet Explorer 8.0.6001.18702

After rebooting, nothing changed. Still no internet connection...still a greyed out toolbar.

Has anyone seen this before? Is there a fix anyone can help me with?

Thanks in advance,
