Hi all

Super forum! Just found it through google.. Well done!

Basically up until an hour ago I thought a "Log" was what ya put on the fire..(well almost).. With a bit of research I ended up here..so hope you can help please..
My laptop kas always crashed when I do a search for music, video and word docs. I then got the message "DATA EXECUTION PREVENTION" "WINDOWS EXPLORER HAS ENCOUNTERED A PROBLEM AND NEEDS TO CLOSE DOWN". It then showed "DLDR-ZLOB.NT" TROJEN FOUND.
From reading other forums it could be something to do with Quicktime Video files.

It was recommended I turn on DEP for all programs and services (Did that). Then do a ComboFix. I did and I have the log. Is it possible somebody could review it please?

I have the Dell XPS M1710 laptop almost 4years and it has always crashed midway into a search. Is this really a Trojan and how do I rid if it or is there confusion with windows and Quicktime or Java for example as ive read?

Going off topic a bit here..but how do I know my system is "COMPLETELY FREE" of viruses, spyware etc..

Many thanks for reading!

Hello,

Please note the text in blue:

ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer.

Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<== starting at step 6.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<== Since you have run ComboFix, please include the ComboFix log in the new topic.

If you cannot produce any of the other logs, then please create the new topic anyway, include the information that you were unable to produce the other logs and why and include the ComboFix log along with a description of your computer issues.
