I loaded a new Norton Antivirus software and my computer screen switched off. When I removed Norton every thing worked OK so What is My antivirus program doing and how do I fix it Please

Welcome to BC!
May I suggest you post this question in the Anti-virus Forum, with a little more detail about precisely WHEN your computer switched off (right after loading, when you opened Norton to run it for the first time, etc.).
