I´ve been having the same weird problem for ages. Whenever I try to install Quicktime or my digital camera´s software (which also tries to install QT!) I get the following error:

One of my colleagues suggested I had to install the latest drivers from Nvidia. Did that but the problem is still there

Hi there,

What hamluis means is that it would be helpfull if you could replicate the exact verbatum error message you are getting...that way we can look into it. Otherwise it's a guessing game with a potential 101 reasons things may not be working

 to BC
Did XP recognize your camera prior to installing the software? I know my Toshiba did not need any drivers or software.

It recognised the camera, it´s just a pain in the ass that QT wont install.

PS: what do you exactly mean with "replicate"?

Quote the error message word for word.

Have you update Windows? Which service pack are you using? Have you tried downloading the latest version form Apple, instead of the prepackage software?

Somehow running that Itunes / QT download worked. Tested it by making a movie and opening it via the pc. Works good now. TY
