Heres the whole situtation. Im trying to forward some ports for Xbox live, and PS network. If i do this through just my speedstream 4200 modem, and wire straight to Xbox, and set up the static IP it works. The problem is, i have other here who use the wireless connection, and when i plug in my D-Link wireless router, it messes up the static IP i set up, and the ports are no longer forwarded.

Ive tried forwarding through both the modem and the router, but it does not work. All that i can really think of trying now is to buy this modem/router in 1, for $100 from my ISP. But its kind of a waste because i have the modem, and 2 wireless routers. Please any help?

We need the model of router. You should only have to set port forwarding on the router and nothing else.
Get your facts first, then you can distort them as you please.
