Unfortunately nothing is certain, especially given that the people who develop malware are constantly modifying and updating it.

But it's worth a try I think.

okay thank you very much, I hesitate to follow those instructions though because NOD32 is currently on my computer and is preventing these viruses from doing any harm - the problem is that it is not removing them. I'm afraid that if I uninstall NOD32 for Dr. Guard the viruses will get out of hand.

Dr. Guard is one of the names this virus goes by.

Nowhere in the guide does it say to uninstall NOD32.

Budapest - I just ran the program and wanted to follow up with an enormous THANK YOU! I have been dealing with this problem for far too long and it was becoming quite bothersome. No AV software would remove or even find this problem. In fact, I was not sure I even had one of those Tdss viruses, I just researched symptoms similar to mine and many people who were having the same problem as me seemed to think they had one of those viruses. Tdsskiller got rid of the infection and my computer is working back like normal. Thank you very much for your help, and I was wondering if this website accepts donations.

Thanks,
Tom
