We're planning an XP pc-laptop based "studio" for school projects - live VoIP and podcasting recordings - and need to connect three pc headsets so that all users can communicate simultaneously.

The cheap pc headsets we'd prefer can't be connected to our regular Phonic mixer (or any other regular mixer, I'd think) due to 3V out from the pc to the headset condensator mic so we wonder how to play it.

Would it work, connecting three usb pc headsets through a usb hub? Anyone who has experience of this?

Thanks

Depends on the power requirements for the hub and the headsets - I have a constant problem with headphones and sound because my sound card doesn't have a powered/amplified outlet.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
