I deleted Lightning Download a long time ago.

For some reason messages still pop up in Google Chrome when ever I go to download something. It reads "Transferring to Lightning download" and then it takes me to HeadLight's advertising site for GetRight, thus failing to download my file.

I searched the registry for All 3 names (HeadLight, Lightning Download, and GetRight) and removed all entries, I searched through all user files, and I searched my computer for any missed files. I also looked through all dll's in chromes folders...

Anything I found got deleted and yet it still pops up. I sent them a message weeks ago and have not received a reply. I cannot find any mention of this problem on Google or on their site.

Any help will once again, be appreciated.

Thanks,
-Mike

Does it only happen in chrome? Is so I would try a simple uninstall of chrome and then a reinstall to se if it fixes it.

Nope.. If there is I can't find it.

That was one of the first things I tried. It still happens in FF with some of the downloads...

If I download from CNET with FF it downloads like normal but it still transfers with chrome.

Other downloads with FF will still try to transfer.
