I am 65 and need help with a computer that hiccups from time to time. It can also freeze from time to time. I am also technologically challenged. I do not know how a message board works. Bear with me.

Your message is too vague for anyone to help you. What do you mean when you say your computer hiccups? Do you get any error messages? The next time something happens, try to remember exactly what you were doing and exactly what happened and post back here so we can help you with a specific issue.

It would be helpful to know the specs of the computer you have, such as make & model, processor, how much memory, what OS you are using, etc...

Hello StevieT

This may be of help.
Before you post about a problem, Some simple guidelines
How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook
