First off: I have an IBM ThinkPad, Windows XP.

Recently I got some form of the Browser Defender virus and the Protection Data malware. No idea how I got it, but I got rid of it using a combination of Avast!, MalwareBytes, and IOrbit. However, now I will be on my computer and a Blue Screen will come up at seemingly random times, but I found it's mostly when I leave my computer on (as in, I'm not on it and it's on.) I looked in the error logs in the Administrative Tools, and it says multiple errors, but they're all the same.

"The Remote Access Connection Manager service depends on the Telephony service which failed to start because of the following error:
The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it. "

Also, my sound will turn off randomly and I'll have to go to Administrative Tools and hit "Start" on the Windows Audio service. The same thing happen with my internet sometimes, I'll have to go and start the "Wireless Zero Configuration" service. This happens maybe once every day for each service, more often with the audio, with no particular pattern to how it starts.

Also now my screen will randomly fade when I leave my computer unattended, more so when my laptop isn't charging....

Please help. D:

Hi Ienzorellim  to BC :flowers:

Download BlueScreenView
No installation required.
Double click on BlueScreenView.exe file to run the program.
When scanning is done, go Edit>Select All.
Go File>Save Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt.
Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all content, and paste it into your next reply. :trumpet:
