I have seen this problem all over the Internet, but aside from clearing the cache (which does not work for me) and a back door (which does work), I have not found a good solution. Anyone?

When I go to www.hotmail.com, I should get a sign-in screen. Instead, I get a completely blank screen. The same thing happens when I go to msn.com and click on the "Hotmail link."

The "back door" (not really a back door) is http://login.live.com. It works, but I would rather find a kosher solution.

I am using Firefox 3.6.3.

That IS what I want. I already have a bookmark for that page. That's not the point. I'm a bit of a geek, and I still want to know why "www.hotmail.com" no longer gets me to the sign-in page. Not being able to figure this out has me going around in circles.

The only thing I can figure out that MIGHT have caused this problem is that I signed into the account from two different computers simultaneously. But there ought to be a way to reset this behavior.

i should have elaborated that the re-direct is correct. the sign in page for hotmail accounts is http://login.live.com . as hotmail is part of microsoft's live web applications.
