Hi all. I just picked up an ASUS VH242H 1080p HD monitor. 23.5 or 24" newegg said 23.5 but not too sure. Seriously is awesome when playing games or watching video, but when I'm just sitting on the desktop there seems to be something wrong. The lines along the task bar seem to be blurry or flickering. Also when running an application like this website for instance, the text and links and lines all are blurry or flickering as well. Its actually really bad on this forum lol.

I currently have the resolution set to 1920x1080 and this seems to be the only resolution that this occurs on. All else its perfectly fine but just not the standard setting for this large monitor. I have not installed any drivers because I can't find any. I have an NVIDIA GeForce 7900 G/GTO.

Here is a copy of my display system information pulled from the NVIDIA control panel.

If my card can't handle the 1920x1080 resolution than I would understand but I'm pretty sure it can. Please help me figure this out!! Thanks.

Also when I change color from 32 bit to 16 it is perfectly clear, no bouncing/fuzzy/flickering text or lines or links and such.
