I was watching Criminal Minds the other day, and Notices they there was a computer they were working on...it had a password on the computer... and if the user got it wrong 6 times, the hard drive gets formatted. They called it 'Deadbolt Defense'

Is there such software made? Where can I acquire it?

Not that I am trying to hide anything, Just pretty darn curious if such thing existed.
