Hi, I have recently removed a nasty virus from my computer, and by the looks of it a TDSS rootkit has been left in atapi.sys. My google chrome also isn't loading which I have read is a problem caused by this. I also downloaded TDSS killer and it identified the problem but curing failed, ie it would not let me delete it. Need some help in resolving the issue.

Hello,

You have a rootkit aboard which will require specialized tools to remove.

Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<== starting from step 6.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<== Please a description of your computer issues and what you've done to try to solve it.

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please create the new topic. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then post back here and we will provide you with further instructions.
