Has anyone else had this happen to them?

I've had the account for years. I havn't changed anything recently other than multiple filters to help organize my mail.

What the heck could I have done?

Yes,

I sent them a message on Friday, and another one on Saturday.

I havn't gotten a reply yet.

I'm hopping I can at least get copies of the mail I had saved in folders.

Maybe now would be a good time to start using an email app.

Have you read this : http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer....mp;answer=43692

According to it it will take 1 minute to 24 hours to unlock the account for them.

Well, I have now. That might explain why it was locked:

I had deleted several hundred messages and sorted the rest into folders using filters to clean out my account.

Its been 5 days though. : /

I hope they contact me soon.

You should post a question the Gmail Help forum as the people there know more about these things. Post your question in the Loading Gmail section.
