Hello ~ Recently, SuperAntiSpyware and Avira appear to be BLOCKED from accessing Internet to acquire updates. Scans w/ Avira, SuperAntiSpyware and MalwareBytes found nothing.

When I attempt to run SuperAntiSpyware UPDATE function, I receive the error message: "There was an error trying to retrieve definitions. Make sure your firewall is not blocking SUPERANTISPYWARE.EXE from accessing the Internet."

Problem is not affected by turning Windows firewall OFF. No other firewall software is on the computer. Browsing / email works just fine.

I'd appreciate your assistance! Thank you for your work!

Hello All ~ I believe this problem is related to an 'Antispyware Soft' infection. I found the solution elsewhere in this forum:

I'm good. Thank you for your assistance!!!
