Hey guys,
My brother somehow got a virus on this computer. I'm running it in safe mode w/ networking right now. It's the kind that is sending me bogus popup anti-spyware warnings. Out of safe mode, it blocks IE, but I changed the LAN proxy settings once in safe mode.
I ran Malwarebytes, and it comes up with Trojan.Fraudpack each time. So I remove it, and reboot in normal mode. But the virus is still there each time.
Does anyone know how to fix this? It says that it's on the registry key for 'avsoft'. I'm def. open to manual removal but I don't know what I'm doing with deleting registry info, so it would have to be a very dumbed down explanation, lol.
Spyware Doctor picked up some stuff but I'm under the impression that you have to pay for the actual removal?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance. :]
