Anyway...I have a crapload of gadgets installed that I never use... :huh:

Haha...yeah, while I'm home from college for the week, I get to enjoy dial-up... :huh:

All I use is ProWeather, CPU Meter, and Baseball scores (only during baseball season).

i have that cpu meter out but im not quite sure how it works. the big one will go up and then go down sometimes and the smaller one doesnt really move to much and if it does im not watching.

The big one is your CPU (processor usage percentage), the smaller is your RAM (percentage used).

The CPU meter is especially useful on my netbook, as I don't want to try to open multiple things if it's already bogging down with something else. The Intel Atom processor requires a little more discretion as to how/when you open programs. Better to wait until things quiet down before trying to do something else. :huh:

Checking the CPU meter gadget is way faster than having to open the Task Manager to check usage percentages. That's why I have it.

It's not as useful on my laptop, as it rarely bogs down at all. But I still leave it up there.
