This is the second application this has happened too in the last two weeks and I have no idea what it is. The program is fully functional except the icon is missing. Not just on the desktop but on the start menu as well.

Any ideas as to why this is happening?

Have you been using Windows disk cleanup tool lately?

Some times the disk cleanup utility removes thumbnail images and it may have removed the one associated with malwarebytes.

Just something to think about.

I did use CCleaner, which might have deleted it.

Try reinstalling Malwarebytes'.

If that doesn't work, try manually changing the icon back to the default (right-click > Properties > Shortcut tab > Change icon).

That bugged me too....three of my Adobe products lost their icons in Win7-64 a few months ago. Today, I downloaded the latest Nvidia driver for my card, and when I restarted I had all of my icons.
