Yesterday I made a stupid move and i installed a codec pack, although Norton 2010 has warned me not to.
After that I face the following problem:
In Explorer, when i try to make a search I get this message from Norton "An intrusion attempt by c36996639.cn was blocked". The description is "Network traffic fromc36996639.cn/---- a lot of random numbers and letters---- matches the signature of a known attack. The attack was resulted from \DEVICE\HARDDISKVOLUME2\PROGRAM FILES\INTERNET EXPLORER\IEXPLORER.EXE"
In Safari, I get the same message and the browser closes.

I run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, 5 bad items were detected and removed, but the problem remains.

I use Vista Home edition in a Acer Aspire 8930 Netbook, with Intel Core 2 Duo P7350 2GHz with 4 GB Ram

Pls advice
