Hi there,

I recently changed by MOBO & reformatted my harddrive and since then everytime I install antispyware software I get an error & the program shutsdown.

The programs I tried are

AD-aware
Spybot - S&D
Spyware Doctor

Everytime I try to run a scan I get a msg the pops up saying:

Windows-pls enter disk, with the choices of cancel, try again & continue.

Pressing any of the options just makes the pop-up close & then pop right back up.

BTW I also have SpywareBlaster which doesn't give such problems & I have Kaspersky as an AV.

Can anyone explain what is going on & how I can fix it; if possible!

Thanks in advance!

Are you sure that the error that windows is giving you is "Windows-pls enter disk" ? I searched google for that without any results.
I'm gussing it might be a problem with installation or some kind of hardware conflict.
Did windows installed without any errors and everything was normal during the installation?

Hi there Kaptain,

I thought I might not have explained myelf too well...so here I installed Spyware Doctor and though it installed properly, during a scan I got the usual msg. Here's the screen shot:

Windows installed fine & didn't give me any other problems.

Thanks again for trying to help!
