Hi-
I'm just a random person who was on a random website. Then all of the sudden something popped up claiming to be my norton antivirus. (I don't know if it is...) It says I have a high risk and that I have a virus named "Trojan.Malscript!html" it claims I'm at a highrisk. the little window won't let me x out. how do I tell if that's the bug itself and clicking okay will be a problem? how do I get the window to go away

P.S. I downloaded a hijack this! and have a log but have no way of knowing how to post the log here.
I also took a screen clip of the little pop-up/ virus alert but can't get that to post either.

Hello Java Blue and  to Bleeping Computer. Thanks for saying hello.

Please take a few moments to browse the New User Orientation forum, to help familiarize yourself with how the forum works.

Also, don't forget to check out the Tutorials.
There is a lot of very useful information there.

As for your HijackThis log, please post it here in the Virus, Trojan, Spyware, and Malware Removal Logs

You could also post your screenshot in your new topic there.
