Getting frequent (~30 sec) pop-ups that say "application cannot be executed. The file wuauclt.exe (or dds.scr or explorer.exe) is infected. Do you want to activate your antivirus software now?" This is accompanied by a small icon on the bottom right of the task bar, as well as a dialogue box pop-up and sometimes an IE window opening.

Thanks in a advance for any suggestions or help.
