I have updated Thunderbird to 3.0.4 and now I can't send or receive mail. I have been on the phone with Windstream and they can't help me. I have been on T/B site and can't find any help. I can get mail directly from Windstream but it's a hassle. I have removed T/B and installed it again with help. All I get is ( Mail server pop.windstream.net is not an IMAP4 mail server.)

To check your settings go HERE

In the Find the answer to your question field, type in Thunderbird. A list of topics will open. Choose Thunderbird-Existing Setup. It should be the 2nd one listed.

You may have some wider issue.
Do you have problems with loading some other pages with Firefox?

WHat AV/firewall do you use?

I don't have any problems with any other sites at all. I use Trend Micro A/V and Windows 7 F/W. I have run complete deep scan with T/M and AMWB, and SAS. Nothing found. I have solved the problem by just getting rid of Thunderbird using Revo.
Thanks for all your help.
