I ran Hitman Pro 3.5, and discovered and deleted a rootkit in kbdclass.sys and deleted spyware PersonalWebIE_v1804.dll within a 15 minute scan and reboot. I would highly recommend it. However I would like an expert to check and see if it worked perfectly like it would seem it did, but I cant find the log it saved.

As a note everything on my computer is working like it did before the crash. I would assume it is all good. It is actually better than I remember.

Hello,

You have twice now been provided with some instructions that you have failed to complete with no explanation why.

So to restate:

1) Go to this guide: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/34773/preparation-guide-for-use-before-using-malware-removal-tools-and-requesting-help/ scroll down to step 6 and follow the instructions posted there.

2) Once you have done so and have created the logs, THEN create NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<== Please include a description of your computer issues in your new topic.

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please create the new topic. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then post back here and we will provide you with further instructions.

IMPORTANT: You must include the logs in your new topic. Without them, your topic will simply get moved to the Am I Infected forum again.

Orange Blossom
Help us help you. If HelpBot replies, you MUST follow step 1 in its reply so we know you need help.
