Hi there. I have a Dell XPS 400 with Windows XP. I have reinstalled windows XP onto the hard drive and ever since have not had sound through my speakers. I get it through my head set but not my speakers. Doesn't even show an option for volume control anymore in the task bar. I believe this is because I no longer have the drivers to support my audio device. I think its onboard audio, because I have no sound card. I've searched every on the web for the right drivers but no luck. Please help!

Try Dell here

If it is integrated try the Sigma Tel drivers
In the beginning there was the command line.
