i am not quite sure what you are asking but let me take a stab.

if you are trying to get people to send you something from a website this may work.
http://www.scriptarchive.com/formmail.html

if you are trying to get pictures or data off a website you would have to use an ftp program or web design app.

On this website I am helping create for my friends, they want to put a free online quote.

So what they want to do is put the form that the costumer has to fill out and once they click send it goes to there e-mail, so the data can be looked at.

A good example is like this one..
https://sales2.geico.com/internetsales/inde...F8-7BE2AB251B5A

If anyone can help me find out where I can research this more, I do appreciate it.

This can be done using a form in html
How you retrieve the data from this form is done using a server side script. You can use any server side scripting language like PHP, ASP etc.

This shows how you can use a form and PHP to send email using the PHP mail() function : http://php.about.com/od/advancedphp/ss/mail.htm

I have studied forms, but I have encauntered a problem.

Every time I execute my form.html it is send to contact.php, but instead of saying "e-mail sent" or "e-mail failed" it gives me the PHP CODE, on the web page.

Why does this happen?

I save my PHP with extension ".php". The form.html sents the data to contact.php. And I use validation.

I did not actually upload it, to my host. I am executing this as a preview in safari. I hope this is not the issue.

Well thank-you again.

Ohh wait I think I fixed it, it only works when I upload it to my server.

Why wont it work in preview like other Html files? I mean PHP should execute command after being launched right?
