Hi. I downloaded flash disinfector from a link on here. When I try to run it, nothing happens. Now I can't delete the exe file and have it stuck in "my downloads" and my new pen drive. Has the program changed so that this is normal or has something gone wrong. In the past I just ran it and the flash drive got a new autorun file. This hasn't happened this time.

I can answer my own question for anyone else who gets this....It was AVG resident shield. I turned it on & off a couple of times and then left it off. FD then ran. Once FD ran it allowed me to delete it.

Yes, some anti-virus programs can be particular as to what they allow to execute...that's a good thing in many cases.
