Quick question on Nortan AV Corporate edition

I've had this on my computer for a few years now set to auto-update, and a few times over the past year I've been bombarded with malware/trojans/worms/virues etc. due to my own stupidity.

My question though, is sometimes NAV picks these up immediatly as they are getting placed on my computer with auto-protect, but the two times that this has been a major issue on my comp I run NAV and find nothing, but when I've run other programs such as Trojan Hunter and Ewido I get TONS of things popping up. Why is this?

This just occured a few days ago, and I didn't get anything turning up on NAV which was updated like 2 days before the scan.

thanks

It's important to realise that a trojan and a virus are two different types of infection, so require two different applications to detect and remove them. Just as with spyware, no single application can spot all the nasties that can find there way in, though obviously some are better than others.
