I have been trying to install Uniblue Driver Scanner on another pc
I copied the file from my pc onto a cd
The file installs so far and then this error comes up (Microsoft Visual C+ + runtime library) (Runtime error)
(Program E:\Driver Scanner\Driverscanner.exe)
(Abnormal program termination)
I have the key for it ,but it never installs that far
Any solution ?

Does the license allow for program's installation on more, than one computer?

If not allow Microsoft Company will ban your system.

My only comment/question would be...why do you feel that installing this program...is necessary/desireable?

IMO, this program is not very useful, since it does what can easily be done by the user...and adding any unnecessary program to a system just increases the chances of malfunction at some time.

Regards -

FWIW: A working driver which is causing no problems...does not need to be updated simply because one exists. IMO, driver updates fall into the same area of consideration that I give to BIOS updates...if the system is working well, there is no reason to update either.

Driver updates are something I consider when things are not working as they should and I don't allow Windows Update to provide updates for my hardware items/devices, since I know how to get those directly from either the motherboard/device manufacturer.

I have one proprietary/OEM system (Dell laptop) and if I needed drivers for it, I would use the accompanying CD which came with the system or go to the Dell website for such (if I did not have the CD).

If it makes you happy to use such software as you mentioned, so be it .

Louis
