Hello everyone. I'm dyin here. I spent hours installing windows XP Pro on my HP Mini 110 netbook from a flash drive, getting all the updates, etc. But the Broadcom wireless driver suggested by HP on their website does not work. I have tried all 4 drivers they recommend for both Windows XP and Windows 7. I have gotten all updates to Service Pack 3. No matter which driver I install, I can't even see wireless connections, much less connect to them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Poking around the hp mini model maze, shows that HP picked up the worst traits of compaq when they merged. Perhaps the serial number will help you find the exact specs for the particular computer.

I don't know if you use linux, but I would boot from a ubuntu live cd and see what wireless chipset is detected. (read the dmesg file)

It's either atheros or broadcom as far as I can tell.
