How to make a bootable pendrive

Hi,

My dvd drive is not working and just thought is it possible to make a bootable pendrive.

If yes, please tell me the way to do it..

http://www.bootdisk.com/pendrive.htm worth looking at method 2 and on usually apply to most method 1 is for people who have a 1.44 floppy.

good ol' bootdisk.com
from within ubuntu you can use the usb startup disk creator utility to copy an ubuntu live cd to a jump drive.
