How do I set the default view in Windows to be 'List' rather than 'Large Icons', 'Small Icons', etc?

Thanks.

Open the folder in question, click view and set it the way you want it. Now click Tools and then click Folder Options. Now click View and click Apply to all Folders. Make sure to click Apply and OK after you make the changes. HTH
