I am new to the forum and need some assistance. I have a Rootkit.Agent virus that I can not get rid of. I have downloaded Malewarebyes and ran that. It detected 2 files (jejbv.sys and kupsmvtm.sys) They are both located i my system32\drivers folder. Malewarebytes says that it will remove them on reboot, but it does not. I have booted in safemode and repeated the process, when I rebooted, Malewarebytes did not find these files at first, but when I looked in the directory thy were still there. I reran MWB and it then found them. How can I get rid of this virus without formatting my drive?

Rootkits require specialized tools to remove. Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<==.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<== Please include the link to this topic in your new topic and a description of your computer issues.

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please create the new topic. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then post back here and we will provide you with further instructions.
