When I turn my computer on, a few of my desktop icons appear to have moved. Is there anyway in which I can set them to prevent this? Thanks

 to Bleeping Computer, Sherpa.

Well, since you didn't say specifically, I can only assume you meant they are out of order but still lined up (not randomly scattered across the desktop).

Check your settings:

I use "Auto Arrange", it automatically arranges them in position.

That's what I suspect Sherpa has set. If you want them oriented "this" way, Auto Arrange might change that. Also the "Sort by" affects this, hence why I posted screenshots of both.

I uncheck auto arrange and drag and drop them where I want them to be.
