hello everyone, im new here, hopefully you guys can help me out. I believe i have the winfixer virus, and i tried going through the manual steps to remove it but my task manager seems to be infected too. when i hit ctrl+alt+delete and the task manager comes up, it only has the current prograns running( like internet explorer, AOL instant messenger, etc..) There are no tabs at the top that allow me to select processes or any of the other tabs. I cant even close the box, because the minnimize and close options are not there. Is this a result of the winfixer virus, or do i have other issues to deal with here? and is there a simple way to get rid of winfixer? im not too good with computers, and i dont want to mess anything up. I have a dell dimension 4600 using windows xp. Thanks for reading, i dont know what else to do.
