When I start my computer it takes awhile for everything to get loaded. I can't access programs on my computer. When I go online, it takes a few minutes to get online.

Windows Security Alerts pop up every few minutes. One is a bubble saying "Windows reports that computer is infected. Antivirus software helps to protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. Click here for the scan you computer. Your computer might be at risk now." When that first came up it also started the scan right away. It will also get Security Warnings saying that it can't open a file because it is infected and do you want to get antivirus software now. The only options it gives me is to buy their software.

I use Firefox for my browser. Every 5-10 minutes an Internet Explore window(which we do have on the computer) pops up with a porn site. I had this happen when I didn't have a browser window open.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Do those pop-ups give a name of the Antivirus software? Or is that the name?
