I accidently put a whole file of pictures in the display properties for desktop backgrounds. I only wanted one and now i can't remove them from that list. I figure that its a simple task that I'm just to dumb to figure out. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Peace Out, Kevin

Well...there are a couple of locations that you can look at...although I believe that any .jpg image can be used as a background image (regardless of location) in XP.

The default wallpapers in Windows XP are stored at: C:\WINDOWS\Web\Wallpaper
(if Windows is installed on C: drive).

The other logical place (to look) would be My Pictures.

Right click start>Explore>scroll down to Windows>click the + to expand>scroll down to Web>click the + to expand>click Wallpaper and all of them will appear on the right and you can delete the ones you don't want.

Well when i follow that procedure i see the wallpapers that i have put in the folder.

You obviously did not put the files in question in the wallpaper folder.
