Hello, I am not all that computer savvy. I have followed the instructions to remove this annoying "MY SECURITY ENGINE" and did very well until number 18. I cannot delete this system 32 the delete button is pale grey and wont let it work. Would anyone have any idea how I can delete then reinstall. Cheers, Carolyn

Hello is this XP or Vista? Are you using the Administrators account.

Were you able to download and Hostsperm.bat without any problem?

If using Vista or Windows 7, be aware that it's UAC (User Account Control) blocks access to the HOSTS file since itís a system file. To get around this you can Disable UAC on Win 7 or Vista.
