I have an old 15" TFT Dell monitor which has a parallel socket having 8 x 3, about 2 mm square, 'holes' with a 3 mm 'slot' at one end (like a thin screwdriver slot at one end). There are two female threads to connect something to it.

Can anyone tell me what this could be for please?

I am thinking that might be a DVI input.
