hi people, i have just encountered my first virus that has infected my computer (well, the first that has affected the way i can/cannot use my computer)
it's the 'XP Security - Unregistered Version' thing, exactly as described in this thread http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/304021/xp-internet-security-unregistered-version/...that's how i found this site, i googled my problem and that's the first result i got.

I'm really hoping someone can help me out, as i need to use my computer over the weekend for work.

thanks,
adam

nope, turns out i am still getting random pop-ups and some re-directs. apart from being annoying, it's not overly invasive.
any help/what's my next step?
