Hello everyone! I have a question about the cBear Acer Aspire One USB External DVD/CD-RW Burner which I am about to purchase. My computer only has USB 1.1 and I was wondering if anyone has ever used this drive with 1.1 before? The specs say it will work with 1.1 but I just bought a burner that said "USB 2.0 recommended. USB 1.1 compatible" and it did NOT work with my computer as I kept getting a message saying "You must have USB 2.0 to use this device".
I simply want an external CD burner that is USB 1.1 compatible. Any other suggestions? Thank you so much!

FWIW: It would be better...to simply install a USB 2.0 controller card, if this is a desktop.
