Hello all, names Josh. I've came to this site out of desperation, and any replies are deeply appreciated. I own a toshiba laptop, about 1 year old, and am using the Vista Home op. system. Recently, I've tried running my virus scans and they keep freezing. I use the free editions of Anti Malwarebytes, Super-Anti Spyware, and Avast. On all three they get to a certain portion of their scans and my computer just freezes allowing me to do nothing at all. I've ran the scans in both safe and normal mode. Furthermore, I thought these freezes to just be isolated to the scans but after playing an online computer game for about 20 minutes the whole of the computer froze again. I'm fairly certain im infected w/ something, namely because I clicked a few ad links in my email, but I do not know how to proceed from here. Thank you for your time, Josh.
