Damn, working on my aunties computer (my old one) it was formatted.

She does go on Facebook, paypal, ebay the usual genre' of stuff. although this was a unfriendly message when i booted up into the pc when i was over tonight, ! Microsoft Security Essentials has detected a SEVERE threat to the system. REMOVE!
win32:fakexpa - severe - remove

It removed but kept coming back, i read it is a duplicating virus that is a pain in the ass to remove. i am not tech illiterate. i know my stuff. im going over tomorrow armed with my disks of many programs in order to boot from them and kick the bleep outta it before it compromises the pc to a crawl.

ATM it is dragging along slowly, internet is being hijacked, AVG is blocked (the website) although it keeps detected and removing. i have tried emptieing recyler as thats its origin, aswell as the recycle bin. to no avail. looks like im going to have to tap into safe mode and try a fix from that, does this also mean system resotres need to be reet?

Any help is appreciated
