I recently removed XP Defender Pro from my machine using this help thread. The malware was removed, however, most exe files cause the "open with" prompt to popup, and consequently will not run. Firefox, IE, notepad, DDS, and a few others work fine.

I searched the forums to see if anyone else that has removed XP Defender Pro had similar issues and found a few but no fixes. Any ideas as how to fix this?
